热塑性增强管RTP有三层：内层为耐腐蚀耐磨PE管；中间层为增强捻层（材料为高强度合成纤维，或玻璃纤维、碳纤维或金属细线）；外层为保护用PE。最流行的增强材料是芳纶纤维。芳纶纤维增强管的压力可达9-14Mpa。爆炸压力可达40Mpa。
